The Stronger

The short "The Stronger" is an adaptation of the 1889 play by the same name by Johan August Strindberg (1849-1912), who was a Swedish playwright, novelist, poet, essayist and painter. He is considered the "father" of modern Swedish literature.

Two women meet. One of them suspects the other of cheating with her husband. The theater play leaves it open whether it is actually true that her husband is cheating with the other woman and questions which of the two women is "The Stronger" one; the married one or the one who can freely move between men.
